1品种来源及选育经过港源97是东港市示范繁殖农场以港源8号为母本,辽星一号为父本杂交经多代系统选育而成的水稻新品种。经7年8个世代定向培育,即2002年有性杂交,2002年秋季到海南异地加代,以后每年进行选择优良单株,经连续分株(系)种植选择,于2007年基本稳定。经场内两年品种比较及一年生产试验,表现抗病、高产、优质。2010～2012年以东示19号命名参加辽宁省水稻晚熟组区域试验,2012年参加辽宁省水稻晚熟组生产试验并
