以双庆谷为母本,离石黄高粱为父本,进行谷子与高粱属间远缘杂交。通过温、湿度的控制及杂交技术的改进,克服了杂交不亲合性,培育成了谷子与高粱远缘杂交新材料──C223,并通过回交,衍生出遗传稳定的杂种新类型17个。利用这些新材料通过回交和复交,选育出根系发达、抗倒、抗病、高产的新品种──青丰谷。该品种比豫谷1号增产15.4%。
Shuangqing Valley as the female parent, from the stone yellow sorghum as the father of distant hybridization between the millet and sorghum. Through the control of temperature and humidity and the improvement of the hybridization technology, the cross incompatibility was overcome, and a new distant hybridization material for millet and sorghum ─ ─ C223 was cultivated and 17 new hybrids of stable genetics were derived by backcrossing . The use of these new materials through backcrossing and re-mating, breeding bred roots, anti-down, disease resistance, high-yielding new varieties ─ ─ Green Valley. The variety than Yugu 1 yield 15.4%.
