我们设计并制成了一个净制水银的仪器,如图。在一直径为40-50毫米,容积为250毫升之分液漏斗1中装有0.5-1公斤需要净制的水银,在1-1.5升大的瓶子2中装着溶液,例如装入溶有5-10克/升硝酸亚汞的5-8%的硝酸溶液,或者装入用来进一步洗净用酸处理过的水银的蒸馏水。打开活栓3,於是溶液通过管4而进入容器5,充满5后,沿着螺旋管6上升而充满容器7。此时打开分液漏斗之活栓8,刚好使水银成小滴流出,水银及溶液之流动速度均极易用活栓3及8来调整。
