Gujiashi (Ca_2BeSi_2O_7) is a new beryllium-bearing mineral belonging to the yellow feldspar in the skarn in the contact zone of alkaline syenite and Cambrian limestone in northeast China. It is, for the first time, found in nature to date almost exactly the same as the synthetic beryllium-magnesium feldspar (Goria C. 1953-1954). A detailed study of mineralogy can be found elsewhere (Peng Qi et al., 1962).
