梅耶区分了科学教科书图解的四种类型:装饰性的、表征性的、组织性的、解释性的。经调查分析,我国七年级科学教科书重视图解的运用,但大部分图解是表征性和组织性的,解释性图解所占比例较少,某种程度上反映了我们重视科学教育描述世界的一面,对解释世界的一面重视不够,建议适当增加解释性图解的比例。表征性图解在习得科学概念的样例或原型成分中有独特作用,不可忽视。
Meyer distinguishes the four types of science textbook illustrations: decorative, symbolic, organizational, interpretive. After investigation and analysis, the seventh grade science textbooks in our country emphasize the application of illustration. However, most of the illustrations are representative and organized. Explanatory illustrations account for a relatively small proportion, reflecting to some extent our emphasis on the aspect of science education that describes the world. Not enough attention is paid to interpreting the world, and it is advisable to increase the proportion of explanatory diagrams appropriately. Representational illustrations have a unique role to play in the sample or prototype components of a scientific concept that can not be ignored.
