甘蔗芽器官液培苗指通过甘蔗侧芽诱导成芽丛或苗丛，经过继代繁殖、增根增养、沙培圃假植、大田定植一系列阶段，生长繁殖成小型种茎苗，从１９９０－１９９３年设置了比较不同世代液培苗的生产性能及其在生产上的利用价值的田间试验。结果表明：在我们霜冻蔗区液培苗同蔗茎苗比，分蘖率增加，茎径减小有随代数的增加而逐渐恢复到原蔗茎苗的特性。液培苗一代作种子繁殖效果更好，液培苗二代之后世代可作原料蔗为生产所利用。
