The main clutch of the Model 505 single bucket excavator is a major component of the drive train. It passes the power of the diesel engine to the working mechanism of the excavator. When the clutch is in the disengaged state, the engine and the working mechanism are disengaged, the diesel engine runs without load, and the working mechanism can be stationary. If the excavator has a sudden overload impact during the work process, the clutch can be automatically disengaged and the diesel engine can be extinguished without being affected by the overload.
