吉首大学外国语学院根据武陵山片区区域发展与扶贫攻坚英语特色专业群建设及改革的基本思路和总体目标,总结了专业建设及改革中存在的困难和问题,坚持“平民大学”的办学理念,围绕“既懂得西方文化、又知晓民族文化、能为武陵山片区经济建设和社会发展服务的复合型、应用型高级外语人才”的培养目标,探讨了专业建设及改革的改进措施。
The College of Foreign Languages of Jishou University, based on the basic ideas and overall goals of the construction and reform of English specialty groups in Wuling Mountain Area, summarized the difficulties and problems in professional construction and reform, and adhered to the idea of “civilian university”. Focusing on the training objectives of “Comprehensive and applied advanced foreign language talents who know both Western culture and ethnic culture and can serve the economic development and social development of the Wuling Mountain Area”, they discussed the improvement measures for professional construction and reform.
