自然奇观,加上绝妙配合的八卦县城位于辽东桓仁。中国文化书院易学研究中心主任米鸿宾来过桓仁后,著《神奇桓仁》一书,从易学角度分析了它的奇特,桓仁县城是世界唯一具备太极、八卦和青龙、白虎、朱雀、玄武山的县城。这是一块神奇的土地,从此桓仁便有了中国易学标本地之称。时光追溯到130多年前,那天风和光绪八年仲春(1882)全面竣工。城垣设计成八卦形,象征着八风宣化、风调雨顺;门开三元,体现三才统一,人与自然和谐,皆寓意着美好的愿望。这座八卦县城,周长三公里;城墙宽一丈,高一丈三尺,加上雉堞高一丈
