余伟康同志是上外教育技术部的主任,一位有着27年党龄的共产党员。在教育技术部主任这个岗位上,余伟康通过出色的工作为学校的教育、科研和其它各项工作作出了显著的成绩。教育技术部因此被评为1999年度精神文明建设集体一等奖,他本人被评为2000年度兰生教育管理二等奖。作为教育技术部的主任,他始终坚持党和人民利益高于一切,牢记全心全意为人民服务的宗旨,密切联系群众,带领群众脚踏实地、埋头苦干。在党委的领导下,短短两年时间里,他就将原来一个领导班子散、服务质量差、工作效率低的单位转变为现在的校先进单位和对外展示学校形象的窗口。在对教育技术部的各项工作和管理中,他勇于改革,大胆创新,具有开拓精神。在他的领导下,教育技术部提出了40字的规范服务达标总要求,连续两年实行全员岗位聘任制和月度考核制,彻底废除了过去的“铁交椅”和“大锅饭”现象,
Comrade Yu Weikang is the director of the Shangwai Educational Technology Department, a 27-year-old Communist Party member.
