叙利亚库尔德民主联盟党自成立以来就致力于维护叙利亚库尔德人的少数民族权利和推进民主自治,是当前叙利亚库尔德众多政治党派中最重要的一支中坚力量。为了大力推进民主自治进程,库尔德民主联盟党利用2011年叙利亚内战带来的机遇,在自身政党战略的指引下,先后通过执行务实平衡策略、扩大群众基础、主导政治话语权、完善组织网络、重塑政党自身形象和反对外部势力干预等措施,在西库尔德斯坦取得了一党独大的政治优势,并于2013年11月12日成立了临时过渡政府。叙利亚库尔德人的民主自治实质上是在叙利亚国家框架内建立一种联邦式的民主管理体制。尽管叙利亚库尔德临时过渡政府的成立对中东库尔德政局影响重大,但是其主导的西库尔德斯坦民主自治进程依然面临着重大的挑战,具有极大的不确定性。
Since its establishment, the Syrian Democratic Party of the DPK has been committed to safeguarding the ethnic rights of Syrian Kurds and promoting democratic self-government. It is currently the most important backbone among many political parties in Syrian Kurdistan. In order to vigorously promote the process of democratic autonomy, the Kurdish Democratic Alliance Party took advantage of the opportunities brought about by the Syrian civil war in 2011 and, under the guidance of its own party strategy, successively adopted a pragmatic and balanced strategy to expand the mass foundation, lead the political discourse right, improve the organizational network, The self-image of the pro-independence political parties and their opposition to the intervention of external forces have won the one-party dominance of political power in West Kurdistan and established the interim transitional government on November 12, 2013. The democratic self-government of the Syrian Kurds is essentially a federal system of democratic management within Syrian national framework. Although the establishment of the interim transitional government of Syrian Kurds has a significant impact on the Kurdish political situation in the Middle East, the democratic autonomy of West Kurdistan that it is leading is still facing major challenges with great uncertainty.
