青岛港始建于1892年,是国有特大型企业。现有员工2.3万多人,其中农民工9000多人。主要从事集装箱、原油、铁矿石、煤炭、粮食等各类进出口货物的装卸、储存、中转、分拨等物流服务和国际国内客运服务,与世界上130多个国家和地区的450多个港口有贸易往来。拥有可停靠1.2万～1.5万个标准箱船舶的世界上最大的集装箱码头,可停靠30万吨级超级巨轮的矿石码头、原油码头和10万吨级煤炭码头。
