Occasional prostate cancer (IDC) is one aspect of prostate cancer. The World Health Organization (WHO) described sporadic prostate cancer as having no suspected preoperative malignancy, and lesions were found in surgical specimens. About 10% of patients are considered to be patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and have incidental cancer after surgery. It was previously thought that the incidence of prostate cancer in China is low. In recent years, with the prolongation of the life span of the population and the improvement of diagnostic techniques, the incidence has increased significantly, and more and more scholars pay attention to it in clinical practice. Our diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of IDPC are summarized as follows.
