利用Friedel-Crafts烷基化反应制备三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM)/废旧发泡聚苯乙烯(WEPS)(50%∶50%,wt,质量分数)接枝母料,并将接枝母料添加到炭黑增强三元乙丙橡胶中,考察母料用量对EPDM硫化胶性能的影响。结果表明:WEPS可以接枝到EPDM上形成EPDM-g-WEPS接枝共聚物;接枝母料中,WEPS的接枝率为19.1%,凝胶含量为42.7%;加有接枝母料的EPDM混炼胶,其正硫化时间低于相同配比的简单共混硫化胶;扫描电镜(SEM)观察显示:含有接枝母料的EPDM硫化胶,WEPS分散相更加均匀细小,两相粘结力提高;含有接枝母料的EPDM硫化胶的性能明显优于相同配比的简单共混硫化胶;当接枝母料用量为10份时,EPDM硫化胶的性能最好,其拉伸强度为13.3MPa、断裂伸长率为556%、撕裂强度为24.8MPa。
EPDM / WEPS (50%: 50%, wt, mass fraction) grafted masterbatch was prepared by Friedel-Crafts alkylation reaction. The graft masterbatch Added to the carbon black reinforced EPDM, investigated the amount of masterbatch EPDM vulcanizate performance. The results showed that: WEPS can be grafted onto EPDM to form EPDM-g-WEPS graft copolymer. The grafting ratio of WEPS was 19.1% and the gel content was 42.7% EPDM rubber vulcanizates, the vulcanization time is lower than the same ratio of simple blend vulcanizates; scanning electron microscopy (SEM) observations: EPDM vulcanizates containing graft masterbatch, WEPS dispersed phase more uniform and small, two-phase adhesion EPDM vulcanizate containing grafted masterbatch is obviously superior to the simple blend vulcanizate with the same ratio; when the amount of graft masterbatch is 10, EPDM vulcanizate has the best performance, the tensile strength 13.3 MPa, elongation at break 556%, tear strength 24.8 MPa.
