1994年6月8日,中央軍委在北京隆重舉行儀式、為19位高级軍官晉升上將軍銜。中共中央總書記、國家主席、中央軍委主席江澤民頒發命令狀並發表重要講話,中央軍委副主席劉華清宣讀了軍委命令,軍委副主席張震主持了授銜儀式。這次被晉升上將軍銜的有:中國人民解放軍副總參謀長徐惠滋、李景,總參謀部警衛局局長楊德中,總政治部副主任王瑞林,總後勤部政治委員周克玉,
On June 8, 1994, the Central Military Commission held a grand ceremony in Beijing to promote the rank of general to 19 senior military officers. General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, State President and Chairman of the Central Military Commission Jiang Zemin issued a letter of order and delivered an important speech. Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission Liu Huaqing read the CMC’s order. Zhang Zhen, vice chairman of the Central Military Commission, presided over the awarding ceremony.
