经济性或者简洁性是语言的一个重要特性,无论在口语还是书面语中,它都发挥着越来越重要的作用。尤其在文学作品中(比如诗歌、小说等),简洁、精炼的语言往往会激发读者无限的想象力,引发心中强烈的情感共鸣。本文将从语言学的角度,运用语言学家马丁内(Andre Martinet)的“语言的经济性原则(the principle of economy)”、格莱斯的会话含义理论及合作原则来着重分析语言的经济性在日常交际和文学作品中的重要作用。
Economic or conciseness is an important feature of language and it plays an increasingly important role both in spoken and written language. Especially in literary works (such as poetry, novels, etc.), concise, refined language tend to inspire readers unlimited imagination, triggering a strong emotional resonance in the heart. This article will focus on the linguistic analysis of language by using the linguist Andre Martinet’s “The principle of economy,” Grice’s theory of conversational implicature and the principle of cooperation Economic importance in everyday communication and literary work.
