我所于1985~1987年与日本米可多育种场高级顾问森田欣一先生,就南方多雨地区耐湿防病的综合栽培技术进行研究。主要是引进日本西瓜嫁接换根、耐湿防病双膜覆盖的栽培技术,结合我国长江以南的具体条件,在覆盖的结构、嫁接技术、整枝和施肥方法等方面进行了试验。3年来的合作研究表明,该项技术应用于春寒多雨、夏季炎热、暴雨频繁、病害严重的地区,能获得稳产高产,并具有明显的经济效益和社会效益。自1985年以来,本所试验田的产量逐年提高,双覆盖由亩产2000kg提高到1986~1987两年的2804~3919kg,在我省南京等地区采用双膜覆盖的早熟栽培技术,应用在早熟品种‘苏蜜一号’上,亩产可达3500kg,产值千元以上,并于5月下旬即可应市,深受广大瓜农和消费者的欢迎。
From 1985 to 1987, I worked with Mr. Kenichi Morita, a senior consultant of Miyoshi breeding farm in Japan, to study the comprehensive cultivation technology of moisture and disease prevention in rainy areas of the south. Mainly the introduction of Japanese watermelon grafting root, moisture and disease-resistant double-film cultivation techniques, combined with the specific conditions south of the Yangtze River in the coverage of the structure, grafting techniques, pruning and fertilization methods were tested. The three years of cooperative research shows that the technology is applied to areas where the spring is cold and rainy, the summer is hot, the heavy rain is frequent and the diseases are serious, and the technology can achieve stable and high yield with obvious economic and social benefits. Since 1985, the output of experimental fields in our institute has been increasing year by year. The double cover covers from 2000kg per mu to 2804 ~ 3919kg in 1986-1987. The double-membrane covered precocious cultivation technique was applied in Nanjing and other areas of our province, ’Su honey on the 1st’, per mu up to 3500kg, the output value of more than 1,000 yuan, and in late May should be the market, by the majority of melon farmers and consumers.
