本文通过总结实验现象和结果,对α-甲基苯乙烯(α-MS)/Cl_2/TiCl_4/CH_2Cl_2体系的阳离子聚合机理进行了初步探讨。分析表明,Cl_2和TiCl_4分别是引发剂和助引发剂,Cl是引发活性种;聚合过程中几乎不发生向单体链转移反应,自由离子和离子对两种形态均参与了聚合反应。
In this paper, the mechanism of cationic polymerization of α-methylstyrene (α-MS) / Cl_2 / TiCl_4 / CH_2Cl_2 system was discussed through summarizing the experimental phenomena and the results. The results showed that Cl_2 and TiCl_4 were initiator and co-initiator, respectively. Cl was the initiator of active species. Few reactions of monomer to monomer chain occurred during the polymerization. Both free ions and ion pairs were involved in the polymerization.
