International Commission on Rock Blasting and Crushing held two Committee meetings on August 1 and August 15 this year and decided that the Eighth International Conference on Blasting and Crushing will be held in Santiago, Chile in August 2005 . Mr. Wang Xuguang of our country was elected by unanimous vote for the chairman of the International Organizing Committee for the 8th International Conference on Rock Blasting and Fracturing and the chairman of the Preparatory Committee for Asian Association for Demolition
