垂熔炉是株洲硬质合金厂对钨、钼条通电进行高温烧结(垂熔)的设备。根据规程,操作人员要按照一定电流通以一定时间,因有好几个升电流、降电流阶梯,所以既要对通电时间进行计时,又要对实际电流进行频繁调节,以保持实际电流值与给定值相等,操作人员每隔几分钟就要改程序,比较紧张、疲劳。而且每两个罩一个操作人员,占用人力多。尤其是晚班操作人员过分疲劳时,不易按照工艺准确地调节,产品质量难以保证。
