中通客车发布了主题为“2345”的节能与新能源客车发展战略规划,即以节能与新能源客车2个抓手,利用3年时间,占有率达到40%,节能与新能源客车销售收入与传统客车持平,各占50%。2013年9月14日,“2013全国公交驾驶员节能技术大赛”总决赛在天津举行。期间,由中国土木工程学会城市公共交通学会与中通客车联合主办的混合动力公共汽车节能研讨会尤其引人关注。
