本刊上期转载之人民教育社论「思想战线上的伟大胜利」一文指出过去一年来学校思想政治教育的主要缺点,就在于不是集中力量对敌人的反动思想——封建的、买办的、法西斯的、亲美仇苏、仇视共产党和劳动人民等——作认真具体的揭露,系统的批评教育和坚决地肃清,而是把主要的力量放在和革命阵营内部的某些落后思想:如个人主义、自私自利、骄傲自大及其他一些日常生活小节作斗争。这样,就模糊了斗争方向,分散了力量,降低了思想政治教育的效率。社论同时指出:思想政治教育必须配合当前国家总的情况,动员全国人民为国家当前的主要任务而奋斗,否则就会脱离实际。
The article entitled “Great Victory in the Ideological Front” of the People’s Education editorial in this issue points out that the main shortcoming of the ideological and political education in schools over the past year lies in not focusing on the reactionary ideology of the enemy - feudal, comprador, fascist, Pro-US and enemy Soviet Union, hatred of the Communist Party and the working people, etc. - for serious and concrete exposures, systematic criticism and education, and resolutely clearing up. Instead, they put the main force behind certain backward thinking within the revolutionary camp: eg individualism, Selfishness, arrogance and a few other everyday life struggles. In this way, the direction of the struggle is blurred and power is dispersed, reducing the efficiency of ideological and political education. At the same time, the editorial pointed out: Ideological and political education must work in line with the current situation of the country as a whole and mobilize the people throughout the country to fight for the country’s current major task; otherwise, it will be out of touch with reality.
