歇后语,是我国人民在生活实残中创造出的一种独具中国特色、不乏幽默色彩的语言形式,被喻作中国民间艺术百花园中“一束智慧的花朵”。它一般由两个部分构成:前半截是形象的比喻,像谜面;后半截是解释、说明,像谜底,自然贴切。在一定的语言环境中,通常说出前半截,“歇”去后半截,就可以领会和猜想出它的本意,所以称它为歇后语。值得关注的是,在大量歇后语中,不乏与秤有关的内容。涉秤歇后语主要分以下几类:
