Doctor Yu Xueqing graduated from Zhongshan Medical College in 1984. In 1987 he studied under the famous nephrologist Professor Tang Shicong, received a master’s degree in 1990, and a doctorate in 1996. From 1996 to 1997, Professor Robert C Atkins, currently Chairman of the International Society of Nephrology, and Dr. Lan Huiyao, the current president of the International Society of Nephrology, studied kidney disease at the Monash University Medical Center in Australia.
