《全日制义务教育语文课程标准》明确指出语文的学科性质:“语文是最重要的交际工具,是人类文化的重要组成部分。”语文不仅具有工具性,而且具有人文性。这种对语文学科性质的认识,是前所未有的,是教育观念的又一次大解放。可以说,语文是进行人文教育的主战场,“人文教育”旨在培养学生人文精神,提高学生人文素养,是以育人为中心,重点培养学生形成完满美好的人、健康完整的人格、自由开放的精神、创新开拓的意识。
