南车株洲电力机车研究所有限公司始创于1959年,前身是铁道部株洲电力机车研究所,现为中国南车股份有限公司的全资子公司。作为我国轨道交通交流牵引电传动和网络控制系统技术及产业化的领军者,50多年来,株洲所始终坚持科技产业化和产业科技化的发展之路,从一家研究所改制企业成功转变成为一家产业形态多样、发展业绩优良的高科技公司。2010年,株洲所实现销售收入100亿元,一举跃入百亿元企业俱乐部的门槛,其发展模式被誉为我国“科研院所体制改革的典范”和“科技产业化的样板”。
