近年来美国华商团体大量涌现,而且种类繁杂。美中贸易专家近日专门对美国华人商会团体进行了研究,总结出这些团体的一些规律,并就这些商会组织与中国国内商会团体的不同之处作出比较。专家日前撰文表示,现在美国的主要华商团体大约有30个,它们大致可以分为下面八类:一是以中国在美国的中资公司为主要成员的商会,如成立于1996年的“美国中国商会”。其成员主要是中国远洋、中国银行、中国国际航空等中国大型国企设在美国的分公司,主要集中在美东的大纽约地区。这些公司实力雄厚,是发展中美贸易的主力。
