武术,作为中国传统文化的一部分,在几千年自然社会环境中,不断繁衍发展。然而进入近代,西方列强的坚船利炮将固步自封的中国打得一败涂地。武术也因为冷兵器推出历史舞台而走向衰落。武术是否已经走到了瓶颈?繁衍千年的武术文化是否就要寿终正寝?本文的观点是在近代社会中,武术发展非但没有走到瓶颈,反而在这半殖民地半封建的社会时代表现出其多元化的特点,并且进一步得以发展。
