利用负性双折射光学补偿膜可以显著地改善单畴与多畴LCD的视角。本文评述了对TN、STN垂直排列与平行排列LCD进行负性双折射补偿的主要应用情况。最近,有三种利用负性双折射光学补偿膜增大了视角锥的TFT_LCD屏正在被商品化。这些屏包括:(1)由美国的TFT_LCD供货商提供的补偿单畴TFT_TN屏;(2)夏普的补偿双畴Super_VTFT_TN屏;(3)富士通的超宽补偿四畴垂直排列TFT_VA屏。
The use of a negative birefringent optical compensation film can significantly improve the viewing angle of single-domain and multi-domain LCDs. This paper reviews the main applications of negative birefringence compensation for TN and STN vertical alignment and parallel alignment LCD. Recently, there are three types of TFT_LCD screens that increase viewing angles using negative birefringent optical compensation films are being commercialized. These screens include: (1) compensation TFTs provided by TFT_LCD suppliers in the United States; (2) Sharp’s compensation dual domain Su_per_VTFT_TN screen; and (3) Fujitsu’s ultra-wide compensation four-domain vertical TFT_VA screens.
