江译民同志关于“三个代表”重要思想的内涵十分丰富。其中始终代表中国最广大人民的根本利益既是新形势下公安工作的思想基础和指导方针,同时也是完成公安机关各项工作的根本前提和重要保证。新时期检验公安工作是否走群众路线的基本标准:一要看群众的参与率;二要看群众的支持率;三要看群众的满意率。只要一刻也不脱离群众、经常地接受群众监督、科学合理地改进工作,公安事业就会持续健康地发展。
Jiang Weimin’s conception of the important thinking of the ’Three Represents’ is very rich. The fundamental interests of the broadest masses of people in China, as always, are not only the ideological foundation and guidelines for public security work under the new situation, but also the fundamental premise and important guarantee for the completion of various tasks in the public security organs. In the new period, the basic standard for examining whether public security work should follow the mass line: one depends on the participation rate of the masses; the other depends on the support rate of the masses; and the third depends on the satisfaction rate of the masses. As long as it does not break away from the masses for a moment, and constantly accepts the supervision of the masses and scientifically and reasonably improves its work, the public security undertaking will develop in a sustained and healthy manner.
