Symptoms are: the first one or a few fingers have become white and later gradually affect both hands. Patients feel finger tingling, then numbness, severe impact on blood circulation. Feel heavier on a cold, wet morning. Gangrene can occur in a very small number of cases. TonyBrammer, Ph.D., Physics Research Division, National Research Council of Canada, is an expert on “Vibration leading to white fingers.” He believes that vibration is not the only cause of “white-handed disease.” Injury, disease, frostbite, arteriosclerosis embolism and almost any factors that affect the normal and elastic blood vessels can contribute to the disease.
