水体是构成各种食物链的基本要素,多种水体受污染必将影响人体健康。国际癌症机构已公布铬及其某些化合物与癌症之间存在因果关系,铬可致肺癌已被反复证实。广州铬盐厂于1971～1974年间,曾在毗邻珠江岸边的南海县盐步公社沙溪大队先后填埋铬渣三万多吨。为了解铬污染方式、范围、水平和在动植物体内的负荷,探讨铬在环境中的迁移及对人体健康的危害,于1981年8月开展本课题的调查研究。
Water is the basic elements that make up various food chains. Contamination of a variety of water bodies will certainly affect human health. The International Agency for Research on Cancer has published a causal link between chromium and some of its compounds and cancer, and chromium-causing lung cancer has been repeatedly confirmed. Chromium Salt Factory in Guangzhou During 1971 ~ 1974, the Shaxi Brigade of Yanbu Commune in Nanhai County, adjacent to the Pearl River, had buried more than 30,000 tons of chromium residue. In order to understand the ways, scope and level of chromium pollution and the loads in plants and animals, and to explore the migration of chromium in the environment and the harm to human health, this project was investigated in August 1981.
