第十届全国运动会的田径比赛的电视转播由江苏省广播电视总台承担,整个田径由 EFP(现场制作系统)、西门子车、高清车三套系统共同完成,共有35个讯道,讯道规模达到中国电视史上的空前水平,由于田径赛场同时进行的比赛较多,所以采用如下的方式：三套系统同时并发传送三路信号,及 EFP 合成一路总信号,共四路信号同时回传到 IBC,兼顾了多个比赛项目, 满足各电视机构的不同需求。
