历史唯物主义认为,社会存在决定社会意识,经济基础决定上层建筑。中国的经济体制正由传统的计划经济向市场经济转轨,随着社会主义市场经济体制的逐步完善和发展,竞争、公平、平等、效益等观念逐步被人们接受,这对思想道德建设无疑有着巨大的促进作用,这也必将引起包括人们的道德在内的整个思想观念发生革命性变革。
