同志们:为了总结和交流一九五三年度国营商业系统中的先进经验,把当前的国营商业经营工作与服务水平向前推进一步,省府商业厅、山西省店员工会联合举行了全省国营商业系统模范工作者的经验交流会议。这次会议开的很好,达到了我们预期的目的。一九五三年,全省国营商业系统中的模范工作者和先进单位,在省府商业厅、各国营专业公司、山西省店员工会和当地党政的领导下,广泛地学习与推广了王锦康的「三熟」「二好」先进推销法,并有了新的发展。在熟悉商品性能方面:长治百货商店电料部主任董步雲,从部队转到商业部门,根本没搞过五金电料业务,但由于他废寝忘食苦心钻研每种商品的性能、用途、使用方法等,终于变成业务内行。一九五三年该商店进口了十五架波罗的海收音机,因长途运输,到店后不能发音,董步雲便请电料技士帮助修理。经过这次修理,他学会了修理、配置、安装收音机的一套简单技术,十五架收音机很快地推销了。进口的捷克牌自行车,顾客反映「车子不出路,车子的把碰大腿」,董步雲经过思索捉摸,终于找出毛病,作了修理,
