刘炳南在湖北美术学院雕塑专业毕业后,被分配到湖北沙市(现荆州市)城建局工作,经几年实践他掌握了园林景观设计及施工的全流程。后入广州美术学院攻读雕塑专业课程研究生,学成后创立并成为广州楚汉雕塑公司掌门人。据统计,他在全国39座城市建立有具象、抽象、构成、装置的城市雕塑和公共艺术。其间,他常常是把创作和艺术项目相共同推进,在承担的艺术项目中体味艺术创作地快乐,进而又在艺术创作
After graduating from the Sculpture Department of Hubei Academy of Fine Arts, Liu Bingnan was assigned to work in Urban Construction Bureau of Shashi (now Jingzhou) in Hubei Province. After several years of practice, he mastered the whole process of landscape design and construction. After entering the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts graduate professional sculpture, after the founding of a pupil and became the head of Guangzhou Chu Han sculpture company. According to statistics, he established urban sculpture and public art in concrete, abstract, composition and installation in 39 cities in the country. In the meantime, he often works together to promote the art and creative projects, to appreciate the artistic creation in the art projects undertaken,
