采用给小白鼠灌服大黄煎剂的方法制作确应模型，再给与不同的植物神经末梢阻断剂，观察正常和脾虚两组小白鼠的心率变化，分析脾虚小白鼠植物神经功能的变化．实验结果提示大黄致脾虚对植物神经功能的影响主要是使交感神经紧张性降低，而副交感神经功能无明显变化．
The correct model was made by administrating rhubarb decoction to mice, and different vegetative nerve ending blockers were given. The heart rate changes of normal and spleen deficiency mice were observed, and the changes of autonomic nerve function of spleen deficiency mice were analyzed. The experimental results suggest that the effect of spleen deficiency caused by rhubarb on autonomic nervous function is mainly to reduce the sympathetic tone, but there is no significant change in parasympathetic function.
