简要介绍了磁卡和ＩＣ卡公用电话的有关知识及国际、国内发展应用的情况，通过对二者的比较，提出了天津市应尽早采用ＩＣ卡公用电话的建议。
Briefly introduces the relevant knowledge of the public telephone and the development of the domestic and international application of the magnetic card and the IC card. Through the comparison of the two, this paper puts forward the suggestion that Tianjin should adopt the IC card public telephone as early as possible.
