为化解金融危机对印度汽车市场带来的影响,2008年12月中旬,印度政府宣布将调低印度汽车消费税税率,以此带动新车销售。根据印度政府发布的降税措施,在商用车方面,卡车消费税由原来的24%降至10%,客车降至8%。另外,印度汽车业的刺激方案还包括放宽政府官员购置新车的标准。据了解,此次汽车消费税的下调是印度商品消费税全面调整计划的一部分。
In order to resolve the impact of the financial crisis on the Indian automotive market, in mid-December 2008, the Indian government announced that it would lower the consumption tax rate for automobiles in India to drive new car sales. According to the tariff reduction measures released by the Indian government, on commercial vehicles, the truck excise duty has been reduced from 24% to 10% and the number of passenger cars to 8%. In addition, India’s auto industry stimulus package also includes the relaxation of government officials to buy a new car standards.
