江北区石马河公社玉带山一队蔬菜专业户罗恩元,在西南农学院园艺系刘佩英教授的指导下,1984年种植人字架冬瓜0.74亩,经核产验收,总产28,275斤(单株产量31.8斤),总产值2,230元,纯收入2.003元,折亩产38,209斤,亩产值2,712.16元。主要经验是: 一、选用良种,培育壮苗。选用抗逆性强,长势旺,挂果早而多,果大,肉厚,产最高,品质好的广东青皮种。1月17日用酿热温床育苗,3月8日现1—2片真叶时,假植于塑料营养钵内培育壮苗。二、严选土地,深翻炕土,施足底肥。选择土层深厚、肥沃,排灌方便和上年未种过冬瓜的土,3月5月用踩撬深翻1尺以上炕土,3月29日
