3年前,石小梅一折《桃花扇·题画》倾倒首都观众,她的表演不但为学者、专家、老观众首肯,而且赢得了一些青年观众。我们曾遇到一位清华大学机械系学生,他就是看了《题画》后迷上昆曲的。石小梅也因《题画》折得“梅花”,成了那一届梅花奖获得者中的佼佼者。观众虽然送给了石小梅许许多多的掌声,也为她塑造的侯朝宗而动情,但他们还是觉得不满足,很多人建议她能演出全本《桃花扇》。石小梅不负众望,她终于把观众的梦变成了现实,演出了《桃花扇》全剧。
