First, the tendency of Japanese hospital ward design in recent years The nursing unit in the new hospital ward has generally increased from 50 to 60 beds, and the nursing stations are mostly located at the entrance of the ward. Two nursing units are arranged on each floor. The wards have only one room and four rooms. The increase in wards extends the distance between the nursing station and the ward.
