暗示与诱导是室内设计的一种手法,大致分为三种类型,即精神暗示与诱导、功能性暗示与诱导、其它形式的暗示与诱导。精神暗示与诱导,其精神功能起着决定的作用,精神功能决定着室内设计的形式;功能性暗示与诱导分为方向性暗示与诱导和空间性暗示与诱导;其它形式的暗示与诱导主要分为动态形式、色彩及材料形式、灯光形式。无论哪种形式的暗示与诱导,使用得当,都会给整个设计带来无穷的创意,也会赋予整个空间以非同一般的精神感受。
