同济大学高等技术学院成立于1996年,是上海乃至全国第一所由普通高等学校成立专门从事高等职业技术教育的二级学院。学院学习和借鉴发达国家高等技术教育的办学模式和成功经验,坚持理论与实践紧密结合,注重与行业、企业的密切联系,重视学生的实践能力、竞争能力和社会责任感的培养。四年多的实践已取得明显成效,学院被列为上海市重点建设的三所示范性高等职业技术院校之一,成为全国首批示范性高等职业技术院校的建设单位之一。
Tongji University Institute of Technology was founded in 1996, Shanghai and even the country’s first by the establishment of colleges and universities specializing in higher vocational and technical education of the second-tier colleges. College learn from and learn advanced technology education in developed countries running mode and successful experience, adhere to the theory and practice of close integration, pay attention to the industry, enterprises are closely linked, emphasis on students’ practical ability, competitive ability and social responsibility training. The practice of more than four years has achieved remarkable results. The college was listed as one of the three exemplary higher vocational and technical colleges and universities designated by Shanghai Municipality and became one of the first units of construction of model higher vocational and technical colleges in China.
