Filed Marco Polo, almost nobody knows. The Italian businessman, who wrote about his journey to the east over 20 years in the book “Marco Polo,” became the first man to introduce China to Europe in the history of the world. He made Europeans find that there was originally a more prosperous Oriental world than his own homeland, and therefore he was also praised as a friendly messenger of East-West cultural exchanges. From 1298 to the present, “Marco Polo” in various translations may have more than 100 kinds, we can see its great influence, known as “the world’s first bizarre book.”
