三坊七巷是福州作为历史文化名城最重要的标志之一,凝结在坊巷格局和明清建筑中的文化信息,在坊巷中生活过的历史文化名人的事迹、思想和著述,坊巷内特有的民风民俗和具有文化内涵的商贸特性,承载了福州城市发展丰厚的历史文化积淀,统称之为三坊七巷文化。
