土地资源调查是整个农业资源调查的重点。它对合理利用土地、提高土地生产力,因地制宜指导农业生产,保持生态平衡,对土地科学管理及制定农业区划和农业生产计划都有着重要意义。在有航空象片的地区(以下简称航片),利用近期摄影的航片是我们开展农业区划土地资源调查工作的依据。它可以清查土地资源的数量和分布,进而编制土地利用现状图。同时,利用航片调查,可大量缩减外业工作时间,节约大量资金,改善工作条件。无论是外业调绘或量算各类面积都比使用地形图精度高。因此,利用航片进行土地资源调查这一技术手段,很有必要。
