宜昌地处鄂西南,是湖北省域副中心城市、长江中上游区域性中心城市和三峡工程所在地。近年来,到宜昌市务工、经商、求学的少数民族和信教群众越来越多,民族宗教服务管理任务越来越重。为此,宜昌市民宗局创新民族宗教事务网格化服务管理,推进建立“网格化”基础、“实体化”载体、“人文化”内涵的民族宗教事务服务管理模式,在服务基层、服务群众、关爱民生、构建和谐等方面赢得社会广泛赞誉。
