我院从1959年,在没有插管材料的情况下,试用鸡翎管作泪道插管手术,十八年中共计手术200只眼,均是鼻泪管阻塞或闭塞所致的慢性泪囊炎。经长期观察,其中失败8眼,手术成功率占96%,术后无不良反应,优于金属、塑料管,没有外排现象。手术方法同沈阳医学院第二附属医院孙振声泪道插管术,翎管取材方便,手术操作简便,基属医疗单位均可开展。鸡翎管的制作:采取老鸡翅膀或尾部之翎管,进行煮沸约30分钟,借热软之机,剪取16～24mm之长管,上端直径3～4mm,
