苍林华生于陶艺世家,受母亲和哥哥影响,对紫砂艺术和中国画从小便耳濡目染。他1 988年进入紫砂二厂,师从高级工艺美术师徐建国进行紫砂创作至今,从事紫砂创作已有20余载,作品多次获奖。2001年作品《桑蚕壶》在中国西湖博览会获铜奖。2000年《蝠来云宵》壶在澳门荣获博览会银奖。《南瓜》壶在2000年澳门博览会荣获铜奖。《石榴》壶在2003年上海陶艺博览会获金奖、成都茶艺博览会金奖。同时获2003年北京
